 Take exit 15A Sloatsburg

 At ramp light turn left onto NY 17/Orange Turnpike.

 Go 2 miles (first exit) make a right (Ringwood, West Milford)

Follow the road for 2 ½ miles. The entrance is on the left.

NJ Turnpike (I-95): Take Route 80 West

Route 46 East: Take to Great Notch/Cedar Grove exit. Make left off ramp.

Follow Rifle Camp Rd. thru traffic light and follow "Below".

Route 46 West: Take to Great Notch/Cedar Grove exit. Make right off ramp.

Follow Rifle Camp Rd. thru traffic light and follow "Below".

GS Parkway North: Take exit 155 P. Follow signs for Route 80 West.

GS Parkway South: Take exit 160. Follow signs for Route 80 West.

Route 80 East: Take exit 56 B (Squirrelwood Rd, Paterson). Follow "Below".

Route 80 West: Take exit 56 (Squirrelwood Rd., Paterson). Bear right off ramp.

Make second right onto Danforth Avenue. Church is at the end of the street on the left.

"Below": Make second right after cloverleaf onto Danforth Ave.

St. Francis Hackensack

From GW Bridge: Take I-95 to I-80 west local exit Hudson St., Hackensack. At the Hudson Street exit, turn left onto Hudson Street. Proceed to the third light and make a left onto Broadway. Go one block to the church/school. From I-80 East: Exit at Hudson Street, Hackensack. At the Hudson Street exit, turn left onto Hudson Street. Go under I-80 and proceed to the fourth light and make a left onto Broadway. Go one block to the church/school. From Route 17 South: Exit onto I-80 East in Hasbrouck Heights/Lodi area. Follow the above directions from I-80 East. From NJ Turnpike: Stay on the Turnpike past the final toll booth. Take I-80 West LOCAL and follow the GW Bridge directions. From Route 46: Exit at Teterboro Airport, Huyler Street, South Hackensack. Stay on Huyler Street to the second light. (Huyler Street becomes State Street.) At the second light, turn right onto Lodi Street. Proceed four blocks on your left to the second church at the corner of Lodi and Holt Streets.

 

Mt. St. Francis, Ringwood, NJ

 FROM THE GARDEN STATE PARKWAY:
GSP North to Exit 160 (Fair Lawn). Left at the light. Go over the bridge and make a right onto 4West to Route 208North which becomes (287 South). Exit #55 (Wanaque). Make right at light. Next light make left onto Rt 511N. *** Go approx. 7 miles through two small towns into Ringwood. Wanaque Reservoir will be on your left. Bear right at fork in the road onto Sloatsburg Road. Go approx. 2 miles on Sloatsburg Rd. (You will pass E. G. Hewitt School on your right and a ballfield on your left.) Continue straight and make the 1st right onto Morris Rd. Pass Holy Name Friary and make the next left onto our property. The retreat office is in the mansion building.

FROM THE GEORGE WASHINGTON BRIDGE:
Take Route 4West to Route 208North which becomes (287 South). Exit #55 (Wanaque). Make right at light. Next light make left onto Rt 511N. Consult above beginning ***Go approx. 7 miles

FROM ROUTE 23 NORTH:
Route 23 North to Route 287 North to Exit 55 (Wanaque)....Turn right at light onto 511N. Consult above beginning ***Go approx. 7 miles...

FROM SOUTH JERSEY:
Take Route 287 North to Exit 55 (Wanaque) Turn right at light onto 511N. Consult above beginning ***Go approx. 7 miles

FROM ROUTE 17:
Take Route 17 North to Mahwah. Bear left onto the New York State Thruway North. Exit at 15A (Hillburn/Suffern) left at light onto Route 17 North. Pass Davis Sports Shop and exit at next right onto Sterling-Mine Road (Rockland 72W). Travel (approximately 4.5 miles) crossing into New Jersey where it becomes Sloatsburg Road. Ringwood State Park is on the right and Mount Saint Francis is on the left. Pass in front of Mount Saint Francis and make a left onto Morris Road. Make the next left onto our property. The retreat office is in the mansion building.

FROM THE TAPPANZEE BRIDGE:
Take the bridge to Route 287 West toward the New York State Thruway North. Exit at 15A. Left at light onto Route 17 North. Continue on Route 17 following the directions above.

3.   Continue northbound on Rt. 23 for about 10 miles

You will see two signs for route 287

[Pass BJ’s, Staples, Home Depot] Then as soon as you see the sign for Morse Ave, get to the right.

4.   Continue for about a half mile past Morse Ave

5.   Make the right at Bartholdi Ave. [Tavern “Jiggs Corner]Small sign says Bartholdi Ave—immediate right

6.   Continue on Bartholdi for about ½ mile. Church is on the left. On-street parking or in school lot.

Butler is about 22 miles from Hackensack. The trip should take about 35 to 40 minutes.

You can park in a garage between Broadway and Amsterdam Ave.
The church is on the corner of Amsterdam and West 96th Street.
Holy Angels Chapel entrance is on W. 96th Street (go down the stairs).
